Alan Athey


I founded Athey Private Travel Management following more than 25 years working in senior roles across the travel industry, advising corporate leaders, sports organisations, and high-profile clients on complex international travel.

My career has spanned corporate travel management, global procurement, supplier negotiation, and operational oversight — often in environments where discretion, accuracy, and time-critical decision-making were essential.

I have worked closely with executive teams, athletes, governing bodies, and commercial organisations, supporting travel that ranged from routine to highly sensitive. These experiences shaped an approach grounded in judgement, calm decision-making, and accountability.

Athey Private Travel Management was established to offer clients independent, relationship-led advisory support — drawing on this experience while remaining personal and adaptable.
