About Alan Athey

I founded Athey Private Travel Management to give clients direct access to experienced, independent travel advice and practical support.

My career spans more than 30 years in the travel industry, including senior roles across corporate travel management, global procurement, supplier negotiation and operational oversight.

I have worked closely with commercial organisations, executive teams, athletes, and governing bodies, supporting travel ranging from routine arrangements to complex and sensitive international requirements. That experience has shaped an approach grounded in sound judgement, calm decision-making and accountability.

Today, I help organisations through Fractional Travel Management and independent Travel Programme Evaluations. I also provide discreet travel advice and coordination for private clients and family offices.
